Submission

All submissions were reviewed by at least three programme committee members. The submissions were judged on originality, relevance, technical quality and presentation. Papers could be submitted in two categories:

  • full papers (up to 12 pages), describing substantial research with well-evaluated results,
  • short papers (up to 5 pages), typically describing ongoing research and preliminary results.

At the conference, full papers were presented as talks and short papers were presented as posters.

Papers accepted as posters had 6–8 pages and papers accepted as talks and alternates– 13 pages.

LNCS logo All accepted papers, in both categories, appeared in PolTAL 2014 proceedings published in the Springer LNCS/LNAI series, as in case of previous TAL conferences.

Note 2: Publication requires full electronic registration and payment of the conference fee (regular rate) by at least one of the co-authors by June 30, 2014.
